When many customers first came into contact with the laser marking machine, they didn’t know how to use the barcode marking function. In fact, it is very simple. First, select the barcode function button on the toolbar. When the barcode font is selected, the system will pop up as shown in the figure below. The dialog box shown in 4-21.
1. Barcode example image
The bar code example picture shows the appearance picture of the bar code corresponding to the current bar code type.
2. Barcode description
The barcode description shows some format descriptions of the current barcode. If the user is not clear about the format of the current barcode type, please read the barcode description carefully to understand what kind of text should be entered is legal.
3. text
The current text to be displayed, if displayed, it means that the previous text can now generate a valid barcode.
4. Display text
Whether to display human-recognizable text below the barcode.
Font: the font of the text currently to be displayed
Text height: the average height of the text
Text X offset: the X offset coordinate of the text
Text Y offset: the Y offset coordinate of the text
Text spacing: the spacing between text
5. blank
It means that when the barcode is reversed, the size of the blank area around the barcode can be specified.
One-dimensional barcode
This kind of barcode is composed of "bars" and "spaces" arranged one after another. Barcode information is transmitted by the different widths and positions of the bars and spaces. The amount of information is determined by the width and accuracy of the barcode. Barcode The wider, the more contained bars and spaces, and the greater the amount of information. This barcode technology can only store information in one direction through the arrangement and combination of "bar" and "empty", so it is called "one-dimensional barcode".
Figure 4-23 is the parameter setting in the interface when you select a one-dimensional bar code.
Check code: Refers to whether the current bar code needs a check code, and some bar codes can be selected by the user whether they need a check code, so the user can choose whether to use a check code.
Reversal: Refers to whether to reverse the processing. Some materials are light-colored after laser marking, so this switch must be selected at this time.
Bar code height: refers to the height of the bar code.
Narrow strip module width: refers to the width of the narrowest strip module, that is, the width of the reference strip module. One-dimensional barcodes generally have four widths of bars and four widths of spaces. According to the width of the bars, from small to large, we use 1, 2, 3, 4 to represent 1, 2, 3, 4 times the width of the reference bar. . The width of the narrow strip module refers to the width of a reference strip width.
The actual width of bar 2 is equal to the ratio of the width of the narrow bar module multiplied by bar 2. Article 3, 4 and so on.
The actual width of empty 1 is equal to the ratio of the width of the narrow strip module multiplied by empty 1. Empty 2, 3, 4 and so on.
Intermediate character spacing: Individual barcodes stipulate that there is a certain spacing between characters (for example, Code39). This parameter is used to set this value, as shown in Figure 4-24.
The actual width of the middle character spacing is equal to the ratio of the width of the narrow bar module multiplied by the middle character spacing
Blank: A limited area with the same reflectivity on the outside or middle of the left and right ends of the barcode.
The actual width of the blank area is equal to the ratio of the width of the narrow strip module multiplied by the blank area.
